Gray Goes Bold
Here I go again, with my favorite pop colors of the year! (View my obsession with pop color in this post.) ATELIER Abigail Ahern is a designer who takes every risk possible in terms of color. What attracted me to her design style is her eclectic taste in color and pieces. She has a "wonderland" sense of messiness to her interiors, yet each piece and each color is chosen with particular care. Gray isn't a color I would think to paint the interior of my house, but it works well and can serve as a neutral background, seemingly un-active. When really, it creates a platform for pieces hot pink colored, a deep teal, or bright yellow to stand out and make the room active. I am thinking of ordering her book on "A Girl's Guide to Decorating"... It would make a great coffee table read as well as great inspiration for color schemes.
